A tilting apparatus and an electronic device are provided to stably tilt a moving part, such as a display unit and an operation unit, by using a moving part supporting part, thereby making the moving part do smooth functions. A tilting apparatus(10) comprises a moving body(21), a moving body supporting part(22) for supporting both ends of one side of the moving body(21), and a cover member(19). The moving body supporting part(22) supports the moving body such that the moving body is angularly displaceable. The cover member(19) covers between the other side of the moving body(21) and the moving body supporting part(22) facing the other side of the moving body(21) when the moving body(21) is angularly displaced with respect to the moving body supporting part(22).
