SMART VALVE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR WATER HAMMERING USING IT

A linear water hammering control valve and a method for controlling water hammering by using the same are provided to be economically used by replacing expensive water hammering absorbing equipment. A smart valve system includes an opening/closing valve(10), a pressure sensor, an opening/closing unit, a hydraulic cylinder(34) and a piston rod(35), a power pack, and a control section. The opening/closing valve is opened and closed by rotating an opening/closing plate. The pressure sensor is provided at the front or rear end of the opening/closing valve. The opening/closing unit opens and closes the opening/closing valve by using a hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic cylinder and the piston rod drive the opening/closing unit. The power pack supplies the hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic cylinder by using the hydraulic pump. The control section includes a solenoid valve opening and closing the opening/closing plate by driving the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder if the pressure applied to the opening/closing plate is above or below predetermined values.
