A veneer board with the cubic grains of wood is provided to cubically express the grains of wood by thermally pressing a metal film on a melamine impregnated overlay sheet with a heat press. A veneer board with the cubic grains of wood is composed of a veneer sheet(6a) formed by laminating a cover sheet, a veneer, and a melamine impregnated overlay sheet from the lower side in order and thermally pressing the laminated sheet with a heat press, wherein the cover sheet is selected from a non-woven fabric impregnated with an adhesive agent and a resin impregnated sheet; plywood(5) disposed under the veneer sheet; and an adhesive layer(7) for bonding the veneer sheet on the plywood. The grains of wood are cubically expressed by interposing a metal film between the melamine impregnated overlay sheet of the veneer sheet and the heat press in thermally pressing the laminated sheet.
