<p>A channel editing device and method of a display apparatus are provided to allow a user to easily recognize a minor channel by displaying an image corresponding to the minor channel when the minor channel is included in a single physical channel and transmitted and to efficiently manage channels. A channel editing device of a display apparatus includes a key input unit(105), a controller(106), an image processor(103), and a display(104). The channel editing device of a display apparatus has a tuner(101) for tuning a broadcasting signal and a demultiplexer(102) for demultiplexing the broadcasting signal tuned by the tuner. The key input unit receives a user's command. The controller analyzes channel information according to a channel change command inputted through the key input unit and controls a minor channel editing region to be separately displayed. The image processor constructs a channel editing image according to a control signal of the controller. The display displays the image processed by the image processor.</p> |
