FIELD: agricultural engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has downward converging hopper with discharge opening, feeding trough, mechanism designed for directing of feed from hopper into feeding trough and disposed under discharge opening of hopper, said mechanism being formed as comb positioned on transverse horizontal shaft within discharge opening, return spring for connecting of hopper rear wall with comb base which is rigidly connected to pressing ejector disposed above feeding trough. Longitudinal members are positioned above pressing ejector on feeding trough in spaced apart relation with respect to one another, said space being commensurable with animal head sizes. Pressing ejector and comb are arranged at an angle of 130-140 deg relative to one another. There is partition positioned between rear wall of hopper and bottom of feeding trough, at an angle of 110-120 deg relative to horizontal plane. ^ EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of apparatus, provision for improved retention of young animals and reduced consumption of feed. ^ 2 dwg |
