#CMT# #/CMT# The motor has a set of superposed rotative optical disks (64, 65) with a determined arrangement of mirrors/filters for deflecting light beam in vertical direction. A deflection periscope (80) is composed of mirror/filter set (79, 81) for actuating an optical disk with a predetermined angle. The periscope comprises a mirror/filter set for deflecting the light beams from light sources and a matrix head comprising pyramids (77). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a second generation digital cinema e.g. home cinema for projecting an ultra high definition video signal on a large screen, and in telecommunication application such as point to point transmission, point to multipoint transmission, guided transmission and free space transmission. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The use of the periscope reduces the encumbrance and improves the performance of the video motor, and reduces the space between the disks. The pyramid increases the resolution and reduces the mechanical constraints of the video motor. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a sectional view of an architecture of a periscope with a matrix head for a digital projection video motor. 64, 65 : Optical disks 66, 67 : Supports 73, 74 : Reflecting faces 76 : Matrix head 77 : Pyramid 79, 81 : Mirror/filter 80 : Deflection periscope.
|
