PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bisaminophenol compound which can be converted into resins having low specific dielectric constants. SOLUTION: This bisaminophenol compound having a structure in which two groups each having an aminohydroxyphenyl group are bound to a group comprising a diamondoid structure. The bisaminophenol compound is preferably a compound represented by the general formula (1) [X is a group comprising a diamond structure; (n) is 0 or 1; Y is H, an alkyl group, or a group comprising a diamondoid structure].
