摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of suppressing the increase of a granular feeling by executing processing so that each dot is formed on a prescribed pixel position in accordance with an AM screen to be applied, and an image processing method, an image processing program, or a recording medium in which the program is recorded. SOLUTION: A pixel group division part 22a divides an input image into cells on the basis of dot positions corresponding to the AM screen to be used in an image output apparatus 30. A centroid position calculation part 22b calculates a centroid position of a cell from the input gradation value and coordinates of each pixel in the cell. A centroid position determination part 22c determines a centroid position by integer number processing by adding or subtracting a prescribed value to/from the centroid position calculated in the prescribed cell. An arrangement part 22d arranges a center of a gradation transformation matrix on the determined centroid position. A gradation transformation part 22e refers to a gradation transformation table stored in the arranged gradation transformation matrix and converts the input gradation value of each pixel in the cell into an output gradation value.
