PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission control device capable of reducing processing loads of a control device, improving response and stability in control, and recognizing the abrasion quantity of a V-belt. SOLUTION: A belt width of the V-belt is calculated on the basis of a sheave position of a primary sheave, a length of the V-belt, a distance between the sheaves, a sheave angle and a change gear ratio, during idling of a motorcycle, and the calculated belt width is stored. A sheave target position of the primary sheave is corrected on the basis of the belt width, and feed forward of a starter is controlled to allow the sheave position to reach a sheave target value after the correction. Further alarm display for encouraging replacement of the V-belt is performed, when the calculated belt width becomes less than a prescribed threshold value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
