PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact branching filter employing a surface acoustic wave filter capable of improving power resistance. SOLUTION: The SAW branching filter has a transmission filter and a reception filter having different pass-bands. In the filter, the reception filter consists of a surface acoustic wave resonator, the transmission filter consists of a longitudinally coupled dual mode filter 105, a first surface acoustic wave resonator 103 is provided in series, and a second surface acoustic wave resonator 104 is provided in parallel on an output side of the transmission filter. One end of the first surface acoustic wave resonator is connected to an output terminal of the transmission filter, and one end of the second surface acoustic wave resonator is connected to the one end of the first surface acoustic wave resonator.
