PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin slice feed mechanism capable of automatically and certainly receiving the thin slice, which is formed by thinly cutting an embedding block, without damaging the same and feeding the thin slice to a next process, and to provide an apparatus for manufacturing a thin slice with the thin slice feed mechanism and a thin slice feeding method. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 includes a sample stand 2, a cutter 3 for thinly cutting the embedding block B, a feed mechanism 6 for moving the sample stand 2 and the thin slice feed mechanism 20. The thin slice feed mechanism 20 includes a roller group 25 having a first roller 22 and a second roller 23, the belt 26 which has a large number of vent holes and is wound around the rollers and a drive part for rotating the rollers of the roller group 25 to allow the belt 26 to run. The first roller 22 includes a suction means 29, which sucks the thin slice externally brought into contact with the first roller 22 through the belt 26 and makes the outer peripheral surface 26b of the belt 26 suck the thin slice.
