PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a holding member of a bag filter economical and at the same time reliably maintain the holdability of a filter medium and make the holding member disposable together with the filter medium. SOLUTION: The aperture parts of a filter medium 1 are made to have a plurality of rectangularly opened apertures arranged in series in one direction and a holding member 2 for holding the aperture parts of the filter medium 1 as the aperture parts being opened as they are is composed of an outer frame part 2a for engaging the outer peripheral rim of the filter medium 1 including all of aperture parts and crosspiece parts 2b for supporting the filter medium 1 from the rear face side between neighboring aperture parts. The holding member 2 is made by corrugating a single thick sheet of paper, so that the holding member 2 can be economical and reliable for maintaining the filter medium 1 and disposable together with the filter medium 1.
