PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platelet aggregation inhibitor which is a preventive or therapeutic agent for a disease resulting from platelet aggregation. SOLUTION: The preventive or therapeutic agent for a disease resulting from platelet aggregation contains a piperidine derivative or its salt or solvate as an effective component. The piperidine derivative is represented by general formula (1) [wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; Y is either of general formula (1)-[1]; B is a single bond represented by general formula (1)-[2] (wherein R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; and m is 0-2), -S-CH<SB>2</SB>-, or -CH=CH-; E is a single bond or a trimethylene group provided that when B is a single bond, E is a trimethylene group and when B is a group other than a single bond, E is a single bond; Z is an oxygen atom; R<SP>3</SP>is a hydrogen atom or R<SP>3</SP>may form a tetrazolyl group together with a nitrogen atom adjacent to Z; and n is 2-5].
