PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening and closing device of an elevator constituted by a simple configuration and capable of improving assembly property and dispensing with frequent maintenance. SOLUTION: When a car 23 moves and stops at a position where a car door 32 faces a building door 52, an insertion piece 51 is inserted between a roller 61 for opening and a roller 62 for closing. Immediately after the insertion piece 51 is abutted on the roller 61 for opening and the building door 52 starts moving from a closing position to an opening position, a first angular displacement body 63 provided with the roller 62 for closing is angularly displaced by gravity, and the roller 62 for closing moves from a leaving position to an approaching position. When the insertion piece 51 is abutted on the roller 62 for closing and the building door 52 moves from an opening position to a closing position, an abutting roller 76 of the first angular displacement body 63 is abutted on an abutting piece 86, and the first angular displacement body 63 is angularly displaced so that the roller 62 for closing returns from the approaching position to the leaving position.
