<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing offset toner caused by paper dust adhering to the heating rotary body of a fixing device, with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a paper dust amount measuring means (60) which measures the amount of the paper dust adhering to a paper (3) supplied to an image forming device (11); and a control means (30) which performs control operation to change the paper supplied to the image forming device (11) from the paper storage sections (41 and 43) of a paper feeder (40) into the paper whose storage direction is different by 90 degrees and form a toner image formed by the image forming device (11), in such a state that the direction of the toner image is rotated by 90 degrees, according to the measurement results of the paper dust amount measuring means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
