<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a utility pole sign board that enhances the effect of protecting a grounding wire and a method for repairing grounding wires wherein a grounding wire can be effectively repaired by repairing a protecting portion or a part of a protecting portion for the grounding wire. <P>SOLUTION: Using the utility pole sign board 11 provided with a grounding wire protecting portion 12, a grounding wire 3 or a grounding wire protecting tube 4 is covered together with a utility pole 1. Thus, the grounding wire 3 is protected with higher reliability. The utility pole sign board is provided with the grounding wire protecting portion 12 at a portion where it is required to repair, protect, join an additional part with, or reinforce the grounding wire protecting tube 4.
