PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of largely securing the size of a light emitting panel. SOLUTION: This luminaire 10 is provided with: the light emitting panel 1 emitting light from a surface 1a; and a housing 2 having a recessed part 21 for inserting and mounting the light emitting panel 1 therein. In an opening peripheral part of the recessed part 21, a pair of cutouts 23 are formed at positions facing to each other; and lid members 3 capable of closing the cutouts 23 are attached to the housing 2 to be swingable between a closed position for closing the cutout 23 and an evacuation position for evacuating outward from the closed position.
