PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting pole preventing the infiltration of rainwater or the like to the inside through an air hole, becoming no hindrance to walking and improving appearance. SOLUTION: The lighting pole 1 used for a pole light has an approximately cylindrical body 10 erected on an installation surface such as a road surface and formed with an approximately circular air hole 2 in the side face to allow communication between the inside and outside of the body 10. An opening edge part 3 of the air hole 2 in the body 10 is provided with a cylindrical flashing part 4 projecting upward 45°with respect to a horizontal direction to surround the air hole 2.
