<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed with a back raising mechanism for operating to raise and lower a back safely by stably supporting an upper body of a user if he/she is seriously injured, suffers from a severe disease, is confined to bed, or is aged so that the user can not support his/her upper body. <P>SOLUTION: In the bed with a back raising mechanism which changes an angle of a back bottom 3 by using a central part of a floor part 2 as a supporting point 5, the back bottom 3 is formed to have a length greater than a sitting height of the user and has scales 4 showing a length on the side surface so that the positions corresponding to the vertex of the head and the acromion when the position of an ischial tuberosity of the user is located at a lower end of the back bottom, or the supporting point, are confirmed by the scales. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
