PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly control accesses to an MIB of an SNMP agent apparatus. SOLUTION: The SNMP agent apparatus 100 includes a management information storage part 110 which stores the MIB of a plurality of objects, a setting storage part 108 which stores setting of access rights from other terminals to the MIB of objects for every category obtained by classifying the plurality of objects into a plurality of groups, and an access control part 104 which refers to the setting storage part 108 to determine whether or not accesses to the MIB are permitted and control them for access requests from other terminals that are connected with a network to the MIB.
