A cosmetic composition for pimple skin comprising the extract of Ishige sinicola Chihara is provided to inhibit growth of Propionibacterium acnes causing acnes in the skin without resulting in side effects such as skin irritation, growth inhibition of the outer skin and resistance against antibiotics during its long-term usage. The cosmetic composition for preventing and treating pimples in the skin comprises 0.001-20.0 wt.% of the extract of Ishige sinicola Chihara which is obtained by extracting Ishige sinicola Chihara with methanol and contains terpenoid compounds. The composition further comprises water-soluble skin, regulating agents of viscosity and hardness, UV absorber, pigment, humectants, cleanser, antiseptic or a mixture thereof.
