<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit board in which an optical circuit is accurately connected without taking up a space, and also to provide a method of efficiently manufacturing such an optical circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical circuit board, optical fibers are fixedly placed on both sides of the board in a circuit shape. The end of the optical fibers is cut so as to have an angle at which light is most refracted or reflected in the direction of nearly 90°to the board surface. Immediately below the cut section, there are prepared a plurality of holes penetrating the board, and the cut section of the optical fibers is provided on both sides of at least one hole, wherein the holes prepared immediately below the cut section of the optical fibers are filled with a light transmissive resin, in the optical circuit board and the manufacturing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
