<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery capable of sufficiently suppressing heat generation when it is subjected to a puncture test. <P>SOLUTION: This lithium ion secondary battery has a negative electrode 130, a positive electrode 140, and a separator 40 provided between the negative electrode 130 and the positive electrode 140, and the negative electrode 130 and the positive electrode 140 have collectors 15, 16 and active material layers 10, 20 provided on the collectors 15, 16 respectively. Ts≥4Tc is satisfied, wherein Ts is the puncture strength of the separator 40, and Tc is the puncture strength of the collector 15 or 16 of either one of the negative electrode 130 or the positive electrode 140. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
