INCREASING STRENGTH OF SHAPE-MEMORY RESIN HAVING REMOLDABILITY AND EXCELLENT SHAPE RECOVERY ABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of shape-memory molding having remoldability and excellent shape recovery ability and a high-strength molding.

SOLUTION: The shape-memory resin comprises a stationary phase and a reversible phase composed of an uncrosslinked component to become a fluid state at a fixed temperature or above, the stationary phase comprises a crosslinked part whose crosslinking is controled by Diels-Alder type thermoreversible reaction in which the stationary phase is covalently bonded on cooling and cleaved on heating. A chain structure of six atoms or above to relax the strain of a crosslinking structure adjacent to a functional group related to a thermoreversible reaction is introduced into the crosslinked part. The crosslinking density of the resin is ≥0.003.
