发明名称 REFRACTORY MATERIALS FOR ALUMINA-CARBON BRICKS
摘要 A refractory composition comprising nanocarbon, flaky graphite and alumina clinker is provided to produce alumina-carbon bricks with excellent oxidation resistance in high oxygen molten steel. A refractory composition includes 1 to 15 wt% of nanocarbon, 1 to 15 wt% of flaky graphite and the balance of alumina clinker. The nanocarbon has a specific surface area rate of 2 to 30, relative to the flaky graphite. The flaky graphite has a specific surface area of 0.7 m2/g or less and has a purity of 98% or more to minimize the effect by impurities. If the specific surface area of the nanocarbon is less than 2 times of that of the flaky graphite, the aggregated nanocarbon does not disperse upon mixing. If the specific surface area of the nanocarbon is over 30 times of that of the flaky graphite, more amount of a binder is needed, causing problems.
