A method for displaying information about roaming service rates in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display rate information for a roaming service on a displayer of the mobile terminal when a user of the mobile terminal gets out of a service area of a mobile service provider, to which the user subscribes, and receives a roaming service provided by another mobile service provider. A microprocessor of a mobile terminal reads information about a preferred roaming list(PRL) stored in a memory(S32). A mobile communication system, which provides a communication channel by using information about the PRL and values of a number assignment module(NAM), is searched(S33). It is determined whether a system identifier(SID) of the mobile communication system is identical to a HOME_SID_IND among the values of the NAM if the mobile communication system matching with information included in the PRL exits(S35). If the SID is identical to the HOME_ SID_ IND, the microprocessor displays a table relative to a roaming service stored in the memory, on a displayer, or a voice corresponding to the table is output through a voice processor(S37,S38).
