An image forming apparatus is provided to output a menu list which enumerates various menu items and displays a key operation method for moving between the menu items. An input part(111) includes a plurality of keys which makes movement between menu items for performing various functions. A control part(130) generates a menu list which enumerates the menu items and displays a method for operating the keys with respect to each of the menu items. A memory part(120) stores data necessary for generating the menu list. A print engine part(140) prints the menu list. A display part(113) displays the menu items. The input part includes a menu key for inputting an instruction for displaying the menu items on the display part.
