The mechanical activity in the rat stomach is a reference parameter for the research on digestive apparatus in alive beings, since an integral visualization of the performance thereof is allowed in a relatively easy manner, provided that the instruments and tools required for such activity are supplied. A reliable instrument is therefore invented for carrying out the gastric motility detection, which is best known as Crystal excitation non-invasive ultrasonic detector of gastric motility in rats.
