SILOXANE DISPERSANT AND NANOPARTICLE PASTE COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

A new type dispersant is provided to be able to improve the dispersion property when nano-particles are dispersed in a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)-based resin used in a high power light source such as UV LED. Provided are a nano-particle paste composition showing the improved dispersion property in a PDMS-based resin system, and a silicone rubber having the hardening property in a PDMS-based resin system. The siloxane dispersant comprises a head portion with the affinity to nano-particles and a tail portion with the affinity to a PDMS-based resin. The nanoparticle paste composition comprises 40-70 wt.% of nano-particles, 0.1-2 wt.% of the dispersant regarding the nano-particles and the remaining amount of a PDMS-based resin.
