An apparatus for measuring swing speed of a golf club is provided to enable a player to lastingly identify numerical value of swing speed and driving distance using a centrifugal force according to a rotation of the golf club. The apparatus includes a hollow housing(100) insertedly mounted on a hollow portion of a shaft, a lifting member(200) vertically installed on one portion of the housing to move it along a guide hole(110) of the housing, a rotating member(300) rotatably engaged to the lifting member, a resilient member(400) engaged to one portion of the rotating member, a sensing member(500) installed on the rotating member, a controller(20) electrically connected to the sensing member for calculating the swing speed through a detecting signal applied from the sensing member, a display portion(30) electrically connected to the controller, and a battery(40) for supplying power to the sensing member, the controller, and the display portion. |
