A pull cord switch for a conveyor and a conveyor monitoring and controlling system using the same are provided to improve the durability and the reliability for safety by preventing contamination of a switch unit. A pull cord switch for a conveyor includes a housing, a terminal block(20), a switch unit(30), a first rotational shaft, a second rotational shaft, an insulation oil, a cover member, and a radio communication module(80). The housing has a first space section one side of which is opened. The terminal block is engaged with the housing so as to be divided from the first space section. A plurality of terminals is installed in the terminal block. The switch unit is installed in the interior of the first space section and has at least one manipulation section for supplying and interrupting a power source to a conveyor drive source through a terminal of the terminal block. The first rotational shaft is supported by the housing. One side of the rotational shaft is protrudes outward. A rotary lever is mounted to the first rotational shaft. The second rotational shaft is rotatably installed in the housing so as to be located in the first space section and is engaged with the first rotational shaft by a power transfer unit. A manipulation lever member for manipulating the manipulation section for supplying and interrupting a power source of the switch unit is installed in the second rotational shaft. The insulation oil is filled in the first space section. The cover member is engaged with the housing to close the first space section. The radio communication module is installed in the housing and detects interruption of a power source to the conveyor drive source of the switch unit by the operation of the manipulation lever member. The radio communication module wirelessly transmits the detected information.
