An LCD is provided to protect a source PCB(Printed Circuit Board) using a cover shield and join the cover shield to a case top and a cover bottom with a strong joining strength and a simple method. An LCD comprises an LCD panel(102), a backlight unit, a support main for receiving the backlight unit and supporting the LCD panel, a cover bottom(120) for covering a lateral surface and a rear surface of the support main, a PCB(130) facing the rear surface of the cover bottom, a TCP(Tape Carrier Package)(132) disposed between the support main and the cover bottom and connected to output terminals of the PCB and input terminals of the LCD panel, and a cover shield(126) for covering the edge of an upper surface of the LCD panel and a lateral surface of the TCP. A bending portion(126a) is protruded from a lateral surface of the cover shield toward a lateral surface of a top case. A screw hole is formed in the lateral surface of the case top, wherein the bending portion is inserted into the screw hole. Both lateral surfaces of the bending portion are connected to a lateral surface of the cover shield. An upper end and a lower end of the bending portion are separated from the lateral surface of the cover shield. |
