The present invention refers to a structural system useful for optimizing compound section structural elements made of steel-reinforced concrete, such as columns, head beams, arches, etc. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a plurality of properties and structural characteristics to a structural element so as to be built in simple stages. Moreover, a high quality control is provided due to the semi-prefabrication of the system components in the plant. Continuity problems between the parts of a compound section element are also avoided by the location of effective continuity elements in the metallic portion of the system, the concrete reinforcement being located in a core housed by a metallic casing, the final section being cast in a monolithic body. Large elements are also constructed by segmenting the self portable centering-type casing, since this metallic casing uses the connection and lightness characteristics of said metal. The principles that guarantee the applica tion of the present system are the following: The definition of the load states according to the construction stages of the system. The design of the system components, in an independent manner at the beginning of the process and in a compound work at the end of the process, according to the mechanical elements to be produced. The use of a light self-portable centering-type metallic casing for the mounting process performed at the initial constructive stage of the system. The use and location of the reinforced concrete located within the area housed by the casing. The cast of the concrete core located in the area housed by the metallic casing. The process is thus reduced to develop a detailed structural study of the structure and load systems to be supported, perform a suitable application of the system and components thereof, as well as their geometry and the constructive and structural advantages thereof.
