An integrated device having a switching function based on an UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) protocol and a record medium recording a switching program are provided to provide a UPnP AV based switching function by using an AV transport service in a next generation All IP based wireless communication network. An integrated device having a switching function based on an UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) protocol comprises a content information collector(200), a switching session manager(210), a format decoder(220), and a rendering hardware(230). The content information collector(200) collects address information and reproduction position information on a media server where content, which is being in reproduction, is registered, and generates switching information. The switching session manager(210) transmits a content switching request message, including the switching information, to other device connected to the network at a user's switching request to other device. The format decoder(220) receives the content from the media server, classifies the content into audio signals and video signals, and decodes them. The rendering hardware(230) reproduces and outputs the decoded signals. The integrated device continuously reproduces the content at other device while reproducing the content received via a streaming scheme from the media server, and provides an AV transport service among an UPnP AV service by using the content information collector(200) and the switching session manager(210).
