<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for importing a content. <P>SOLUTION: This method for reimporting a second content file imported from a first content file to a third content file is related to protection of the digital content in a DRM system. In the method, whether the reimport is permitted or not is determined by a difference between a present use range of the content determined in an import process thereof and an original use range of the content. When the content to be specified in a domain range by circumstances when the content import is unavoidably specified in a device range by changing a use range of the content from the present use range into the original use range by a determination result thereof, the content can be freely used in the domain range as original authority shown by use restriction information or the like of the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
