PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set elastic force of a precompression mechanism low by distributing suppression of lifting of a worm by elastic force of the precompression mechanism and rigidity of a projection part. SOLUTION: The worm decelerator is constituted such that the projection part 30 is provided on an inner diameter of a bushing 22 of a worm support part and suppression of lifting of the worm 11 is performed by rigidity of the projection part 30 and elastic force of the precompression mechanism 20. Accordingly, suppression of lifting of the worm 11 can be distributed by the elastic force of the precompression mechanism 20 and the rigidity of the projection part 30 by providing the projection part on the inner diameter of the bushing 22 of the worm support part and the elastic force of the precompression mechanism 20 can be set low.
