PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist prevention tool for preventing twists of a sling wire, having light weight and a compact shape, easily handled and capable of responding to change of the size of hanging cargo. SOLUTION: This twist prevention tool comprises a hanging and holding part 3 hooked on a hook 2 of a lifting device, a support part provided in a lower part of the hanging and holding part 3, two or more arm parts 5 supported by the support part, and insertion parts 6 provided at end parts of the arm parts 5, respectively.
