<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly capable of sufficiently suppressing and preventing deformation of the electrolyte membrane when forming directly an electrode catalyst layer on the electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly has a stage in which an electrolyte membrane is adsorbed on a substrate capable of adsorption and desorption of a sheet, a catalyst ink is applied on the electrolyte membrane while retaining shape of the electrolyte membrane, and the electrolyte membrane is removed from the substrate after the ink is dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
