PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales processor for issuing a holding receipt having a print pattern layout for highly safely preventing illegal use, which can be visually and easily discriminated from an account receipt. SOLUTION: In the sales processor, as for a holding receipt 100 to be issued when a user wants to perform sales holding or credit holding, a predetermined message indicating that this holding receipt is not an account receipt is printed on an additional item region 100a set in a header region, and a black start mark as an identifier for visually discriminating the relating message with its contrast with the other print part is printed before and after that. Thus, it is possible to visually and easily judge that the holding receipt is not the account receipt, and to easily discriminate the holding receipt from the account receipt. Also, this case is different from such a case that a print pattern layout is known so that even when the holding number printed in the footer region at the lowest stage is cut with scissors or the like to illegally use the holding receipt, any message section different from the account receipt can prevent the holding receipt from being used.
