PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve engine mounting versatility by increasing layout patterns upon mounting with necessary minimum new components. SOLUTION: In an engine 1 with a silencer 30 attached to an exhaust manifold 40, the exhaust port 33 of the silencer 30 is formed on one side in a backward and forward (longitudinal) direction, an exhaust inlet 31 with an inlet port from the exhaust manifold 40 and a mounting part integrally formed is formed to the lower part of the longitudinal center part of the silencer 30, and the silencer 30 is formed to be reversely attached in backward and forward direction.
