<p>A cover device for a vessel containing liquid, which may be compactibly stored in a housing, is disclosed. A system for covering and uncovering the vessel containing liquid and for extending . and retracting the cover device from said vessel containing liquid, which can be easily used and operated by a user, is also disclosed. The system may include a vessel containing liquid, a housing, an automatic removal and replacement mechanism, and a cover that may be configured and dimensioned to be flexibly stored within the housing.
