<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition effective against excessive pigmentation induced by an internal stress. <P>SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition comprises an extract from a plant of the Lamiacea family, especially an extract derived from a plant of the genus Mentha selected from especially Mentha aquatica, Mentha arvensis, Mentha longifolia, Mentha piperita, Mentha pulegium and Mentha spicata. Furthermore, the cosmetic composition comprises at least one of a bleaching agent (an ascorbic acid derivative and/or an extract from Glycyrrhiza glabra), a keratolytic agent (a phenol derivative, especially one of salicylic acid or a derivative thereof or an extract from a bud of a beech), a chelating agent (tetra-sodium edetate and/or citric acid) and an anti-NO agent (an extract from Ginkgo biloba). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
