A drive circuit of a motor which can deal flexibly with model change of low price/small lot without using material uselessly while sustaining low noise and low loss attained by reducing inductance of power wiring and can reduce restriction on design by reducing stress at the solder portion due to self heating thereby enhancing high solder reliability. An outdoor unit of an air conditioner employing that motor drive circuit is also provided. The drive circuit of a motor for driving a motor using a converter circuit and an inverter circuit comprises a lead frame mold substrate (100) mounting electronic components constituting the converter circuit and the inverter circuit and molding a metal plate lead (37) with mold resin (36), and a single side printed board (31) for a control circuit, wherein the power terminal (30) of the electronic component is connected with the lead frame mold substrate (100) and the control wiring terminal (39) of the electronic component is connected with the single side printed board (31).
