PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of effectively preventing image data from being transmitted to the destination terminal erroneously connected by an input error of a calling number and a communicational cause. SOLUTION: It is judged whether or not the destination terminal is a communication terminal manufactured by the same manufacturer as the transmitting communication terminal device in accordance with a non-display function identification signal received from the connected destination terminal. A display unit displays a message showing a judgement result and a message for urging a transmitting side operator to perform a selection operation for executing or canceling transmission of image data. A function key for making the operator perform the selection operation for executing or canceling the transmission of the image data is displayed on the display unit.
