PURPOSE:To extremely enhance the separation yields of an alcohol component and a carbon dioxide by highly effectively separating the alcohol component and the carbon dioxide from the mixture of an organic substance containing the alcohol with a carbon-containing inorganic substance. CONSTITUTION:A method for separating an alcohol component and carbon dioxide from a mixture comprises adding an acid solution 4 to the mixture 1 of an organic substance containing the alcohol with a carbon-containing inorganic substance producing the carbon dioxide with heat or an acid, introducing the produced mixture gas containing the alcohol gas and the carbon dioxide gas into butyl alcohol 9 for allowing the butyl alcohol 9 to absorb the alcohol gas, introducing the carbon dioxide passed through the butyl alcohol into an alkali solution 17 for allowing the alkali solution 17 to absorb the carbon dioxide, and subsequently separately collecting the butyl alcohol 9 absorbing the alcohol gas and the alkali solution 17 absorbing the carbon dioxide. |
