摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently flatten a pixel part by utilizing a constitution providing a light-shielding layer at the lower side of a TFT, in a TFT-driven active matrix drive type liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel (100) has a liquid layer (50) held between a couple of substrates and a pixel electrode (11) provided to a TFT array substrate (10) in a matrix state. A light shielding layer (3) is arranged to overlap with the TFT (30) and a capacity line (3b) when the TFT and the capacity line (3b) are viewed from a lower side. First interlayer insulating layers (12, 13) are provided on the light shielding layer (11a) in an area where the light shielding layer (11a) is formed and on the TFT array substrate (10) in an area where the light shielding layer (11a) is not formed, and the parts opposing to the TFT, the capacity line, or the like of the first interlayer insulating layers (12, 13) are formed in a recessed state, when viewed from the side of an opposing substrate (20).
