<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded ventilating fan used as a ventilation blower which has good workability, is manufactured inexpensively, and can insulate and reduce noise emitted from a suction port. <P>SOLUTION: A grill 21 is provided with an opening part 23 of a bell mouth shape, which is formed concentrically with the suction port 7 of a scroll casing 9 and has an opening of a diameter equal or smaller than a diameter of the suction port 7, and a sound deadening function 24 of the noise emitted from the suction port 7 from the opening part 23 on an outer circumferential side.
