PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving amplifier with a simple configuration that ensures the high speed response of a voltage amplifier circuit for amplifying the received light signal of pulsed light and can sufficiently widely establish its dynamic range. SOLUTION: The light receiving amplifier includes: a light receiving element for receiving the pulsed light outputted from a light emitting unit; an I/V converter for converting the output current of the light receiving element into a voltage; and the voltage amplifier circuit for amplifying the output voltage of the I/V converter, and in particular, the feedback circuit of the voltage amplifier circuit includes a capacitor for compensating the operating characteristic, and the voltage amplifier circuit is provided with a switch located in parallel with the capacitor, driven synchronously by the drive of the light emitting unit and short-circuiting the capacitor after the light emission of the pulsed light.
