The food product (100) based on shrimps, comprises a disc-shaped fresh product (110) that consists of minced pieces of shrimp meat (112) with a size of 1-12 mm, and a paste (120). The shrimp meat is deep-frozen and sliced/chopped at -8 to -2[deg]C. The fresh product contains a bonding agent and/or a spice. The shrimp meat is shaped in disc form with a molding machine. The sliced shrimp meat exhibits a diameter of 70-100 mm and a thickness of 8-20 mm. The shrimps are Pandalus borealis type. The portion of the shrimp in the breaded food product is 50%.
