The system has longitudinal brakes arranged at a distance to a gradient track. The brakes are mechanically operated by wheels of a process that is decelerated on switching speed of the brakes, when execution speed is larger than a preset switching speed of the brakes. The brakes in a track area (B) of the gradient track are provided with high switching speeds than at an origin of the gradient track. The switching speeds are selected, such that that the process that is not braked in the track area to reach its assigned direction track, has a velocity plot (6) longitudinal to the area.
